Drew Pritchard, antique dealer on Salvage Hunter Quest TV
Petworth was featured last week by well known television presenter - Drew Pritchard, antique dealer and salvage hunter in his regular 9pm programme on Quest TV
Drew Pritchard has been dealing in architectural salvage and antiques for 29 years working initially as a stained glass restorer and designer. A member of LAPADA, he has spent 23 years as an independent dealer working from his base in North Wales. His business is driven by passion, an innate knowledge of antiques and a fascination with mixing items from different periods which has earned him a loyal client base of private individuals, interior decorators as well as partnering the best in his field on global and UK based projects.
Drew says 'We love Petworth and have been buying from there for years. Petowrth is a beautiful town that has inspired 18th century landscapers and artists to create some of their best known work and has atracted those with an eye for beautiy ever since. Known as the antiques capital of the south there are shops and warehouses dotted all over the town selling antiques, artwork and high end interiors"
Drew Pritchard had a wonderfully successful day browsing and buying and loved the fact that there we so many dealers all in one town so made visiting the various dealers easy.
Amongst other items Drew purchased a pair of wonderful Flamingo statues from Anthony Short of Anthony Short Antiques who are PAADA members
This was his quote on Twitter -
"I love #Petworth been going there for yrs.. Great mix of traders and excellent sarnies and wine shops ... See you soon for more buying trips"
